If you're worried about artificial intelligence killing us all á la Terminator, fear not, brains are still the best. There isn't really a "thinking" vs "feeling" brain, there's only the brain and it's complex networks of neurons. But I guess nerding out on neurology isn't everyone's thing, and I'll admit that the metaphor is nice.

As someone who often struggles with her brain, I'm happy to report that this week was ok in the brain department. I found a lot to be inspired by and the feeling was quite welcome.

On the lighter side of darkness, the International Committee of the Red Cross was pretty engaging when they used Game of Throne war crimes to call attention to human rights.

In design news, I like the design (and the purpose) of this NGO, so I went and looked up the designer. I also stumbled upon the Japanese comic "Saint Young Men" in which Jesus and Buddha are low-rent roommates in Tokyo. I love the idea, but after watching some YouTube clips wasn't jazzed about the execution. The comic is probably better.
