Maybe I'm multi-faceted
We are so multi-faceted. I often consider myself to be split into multiple personalities. Not in a DSM kind of way, but I have my creative at-work person who is different from my creative at-home person who are both wildly different from my in-the-garden person. They aren't WTF distinct, but I once mapped the needs and fears of a bunch of them and found distinct differences, conflicts and complexities. This exercise was a spin on something called the "inner team", a personality model from a German psychologist, Friedemann Schulz von Thun*.
*I love a name with a "von", which in German means "from". The first cat I had when I moved to Germany was named "Marlow von Scharfenberg" because we picked him up in Scharfenberg.
The idea is that you are a "team leader" who has to negotiate all these inner team members who have different needs, fears and desires. Now the English Wikipedia doesn't explain the model, and though I was tempted to translate it, I'm mad at the elite club that is Wikipedia Editors for having a page on this guy for this one thing, but not having a page on me...
Whatever, you can Google this model if you care. Anyway, the Writer Me feels seen by this post on the difference between making art and sharing it.

Maybe I need help?

I'm not feeling it today, so I'm going to go outside and pretend like this newsletter was even worth sending. Here's Victoria again in case you missed it last week:
