I didn't really have time this week to unfurl my antennas to all the new impulses and intellect floating around out there. I needed to rebuild a bit of brain strength from my previous week, which was rough. I spent all of my energy on our various clients and projects and did very little to unwind. I'm still in distraction mode, I reckon.

Last week, we recorded an episode of the Tao of WAO with Bryan Alexander, an educator and futurist. It was a fantastic conversation, and I left feeling inspired. I did the edit this week and re-listened to the entire episode, and I was inspired a second time. It's a good time to keep our eyes and ears open for anything that makes us feel connected. The forces that be are highly adept at making us feel disconnected.

As someone who presents as a woman and, indeed, is biologically equipped as such, I am shaking under the weight of the patriarchy too. It boggles the mind to see powerful ADULT HUMANS don't understand abortion, e.g. evacuation of the uterus, as basic health care for people with a uterus. I doubt any of you are "pro-life" but if so, could you be pro-life for us uterus people, please? I mean ffs, this isn't about actual human children. It is about oppression. I honestly do not grok this whole thing, at all.

The three branches of US government are CO-EQUAL. The Supreme Court is not all powerful. I learned that shit in the 9th grade so WITAF is going on?

The wokey wokeness world that makes people feel like crap is not my jam, so i was happy to see an eloquent thread that explained racist and capitalist conditioning. If we all just try to be aware of our conditioning and privileges, and aware of other people trying, the world will be more empathetic.
