Maybe I'm sensitive

Sometimes I strike a particular nerve, and I had a higher than average response rate to last week's newsletter. One person said that words are part of an erosion process. I realised this was quite what I needed to hear at the moment. A reminder of the ripple impact. The slow burn of change. I suppose we all become impatient, particularly activists. We get tired because some things, like progressive climate policy, seem so absolutely simple. I get it, the world is complex, but when it comes to climate it's really not. Hold on, this line of thinking is going to remind me of how I was feeling about it all last week. Let's have some links, and then some art instead.

Maybe I'm arty

Right so I was talking about how my creativity has suffered, or maybe I mentioned it in passing. In any case, I bother to bother why I bother, and I do bother from time to time. Expression is never easy, as I said last week, I get up in my head about it. Then the wind shifts and I spend half the week being in some way creative. I tinkered with shapes and colours. I reimagined complex systems and simplified them. I harvested all the tomatoes and jarred them for the coming apocalypse (or, like, for pasta), which I found to be a creative input because as I was peeling the tomatoes, I sprayed patterns of tomato guts across myself and the wall. After all,

Maybe I need help?

Be patient with me over the next couple of weeks. I am going to the ocean. I need a break and so will fill up on sun and sea before the grey of German winter hits in full force. I'm always happy to hear from you, whomever you are. You're welcome to hit reply.
